Visual artists make marks that convey meaning. In this workshop we will explore this process of mark making and draw inspiration from objects found in the natural environment around us.
You will discover written patterns and the endless design possibilities of hidden semantics, or simply put – mark making. This is a great way to start calligraphy, break your creative block or simply enjoy inks and paper.
Anyone who is creatively curious will find this course meaningful and valuable. This workshop is suitable for all levels from ages 12 upwards.
You will come away with personal marks, less fear of the blank page as well as an introduction to mark making.
Quality papers and inks will be available for purchase (cash, SnapScan or credit card), or bring your own.
